Following three decades of managing major parking facilities at regional shopping centres, educational facilities, and large office complexes throughout B.C. and Alberta, Concord formed a separate parking management division under the name Concord Parking in 2011. Concord Parking’s mandate is to provide clients with specialized parking management services designed to:
- Enhance customer parking experience utilizing best in industry technology.
- Maximize our clients’ return on parking assets.
- Provide our clients with highly skilled/motivated personnel.
- Allow clients to benefit from improved efficiencies and economies of scale.
Concord Parking will be unique in its approach to parking management. State-of-the-art equipment and leading edge technology will be utilized in its revenue and service management strategy.
Mark Forward, Vice President & General Manager
Mark has been in the security industry with Concord Security since 1992. He has played a critical role in the formation of our Parking Division. Mark has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and is a Certified General Accountant, both skillsets that support Concord Parking operationally. He is in charge of all Concord’s business operations and in 2009 was named to Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 list of top local business people. Mark was appointed Vice President in February 2013.
Marc Postlethwaite, Director of Sales
Marc has 10 years of senior level parking management experience with one of North America’s largest parking organizations. As a Regional Manager, Marc had direct accountability for managing client parking assets within a portfolio of 85 parking facilities. These facilities include Class A office buildings, hospitals, airports and universities throughout Western Canada. With additional accountability for equipment procurement and technical services, Marc has partnered with many of North America’s leading technology companies in the design and delivery of innovative client parking management programs.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University and a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from the University of British Columbia.
Claudine Guertin, Contract Coordinator
Claudine joined Concord in 2007 as the Contract Coordinator for one of our biggest contracts, the City of Vancouver Integrated Security Contract. Prior to this, Claudine worked in the Vancouver parking industry for four years. During Claudine’s employment in parking, she obtained a vast understanding and knowledge of the overall general operations due to working in many departments including, Quality Control, Account Administrator, Operations and Security and Compliance. Claudine’s extensive background in Customer Service and Security makes her a key asset to our company.
Concord Security proudly supports several community groups and charitable organizations as well as being members in various local and industry associations. In addition, Concord Security encourages our employees and management team to dedicate some of their free time to community organizations that they feel passionate about.
